DecisionPoint Software updated its financial performance management software to include new levels of visibility into data from PeopleSoft and SAP applications.

DecisionPoint Release 11, announced Tuesday, sources finance and operational information from enterprise applications, creating a data warehouse for reporting and analysis. The product provides transactional details behind summary reports designed for a variety of user levels.

Release 11 taps data within PeopleSoft versions 8.3, 8.4 and 8.8 and SAP R/3 4.6, as well as Oracle applications and legacy data sources. An updated financial statement generator supports Oracle, PeopleSoft and SAP data.

The new release also features a compliance dashboard for information in Teradata applications that's designed to let auditors analyze and report financial and operational performance according to regulatory requirements such as those related to Sarbanes-Oxley.

Another feature new to Release 11 is DecisionCast for Excel, a version of the vendor's business intelligence and reporting tool that integrates with the widely used Microsoft spreadsheets software. DecisionPoint also added new Linux server support to the new version of the financial performance management suite.

Pricing for Release 11 begins at $250,000.
