Oracle's newly debuted E-Business Suite 11i.10 will feature more reporting and dashboard capabilities than the enterprise application giant's previous offering, the company said.

The platform has been designed with 82% more reports, 53% more key measurements and 13% more role-specific dashboards, Oracle said at the OpenWorld conference in London. E-Business Suite can deliver business intelligence information and transactional information in the same system, which Oracle claimed will give customers intelligence at a lower cost than traditional BI deployments.

Oracle worked closely with customers and industry user groups to develop the new suite, said Ron Wohl, the company's executive VP of application development. Oracle put special emphasis on industry-specific improvements it made for the healthcare market, which it wants to aggressively target with the new technology.
