OutlookSoft, a maker of business performance management software, debuted a version of its Microsoft-based BPM tool that includes new predictive analytics capabilities.

Everest Version 4.2, announced Monday, is designed to predict financial and operational business performance based on analysis of historical and real-time data. OutlookSoft built the product with an eye toward reducing the time users have to spend on analysis, by automating common tasks such as variance and root-cause analysis.

Version 4.2 includes new auditability and compliance features to ease Sarbanes-Oxley and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) compliance. Users can track data audit trails by application, category or component.

Among other features new to the update are improved data management capabilities, drag-and-drop and wizard-based administrative elements, scheduled report distribution functionality, and improved process management related to reporting and auditing approvals.

Everest 4.2 is sold under a user-based pricing model, with costs starting at $225,000 for 50 users.
