ProClarity, a business intelligence technology vendor, today announced that the Veterans Health Administration has expanded its use of the ProClarity Analytics Platform.

The agreement allows the entire suite of ProClarity analytic products and services including client and server licenses, training, ProClarity Community access, and support and maintenance services, to be deployed to more than 196,500 VHA employees across a network of more than 150 medical centers. According to the vendor, the deployment is expected to be one of the largest of Microsoft SQL Server 2000 Analysis Services in the world.

ProClarity will integrate with the VHA's existing 32-bit and 64-bit architecture. The VHA is one of the largest health care providers in the world with a medical care budget of approximately $30 billion.
