I know I said I didn't really care about more Bluetooth headsets, but it's always so much fun to see what Blue Ant is up to. Call me a hypocrite. We talked to Blue Ant about its latest technology, Q1, which combines improved noise suppression with the voice control capabilities it launched earlier this year. Blue Ant was a little coy about what it's done with its microphones, saying that the competition was trying its best to get at that information, and since the Q1 won't be ready until the second quarter, it didn't want to reveal too much. It lets you not only make voice-command-driven calls, but also perform a variety of tasks via voice; it also talks to you, guiding you through the steps. You can even tell it to pair itself to your phone. Now, if it allowed for voice-based text messaging, that would be even better.
