Those special glasses used for generations to view 3-D images on film are coming to the Internet.

TDV Technologies last week launched a portal on which people can see images the usual way or in 3-D, using the glasses.

A $99 viewing package for consumers includes the LCD electronic viewing glasses, which come in wired or wireless versions. The software can be used to bolster online sales. Harley-Davidson, Honda, and Sony plan to use it on their sites.

"It completely enhances product images to a real-life viewing experience," says TDV's CEO Jonathan McCann, "so the person feels like he has the product in his hands."
