Divine just made its 15th acquisition in a year. It bought the enterprise search and content-integration business of online search engine Northern Light Technology in an all-stock deal. Terms weren't disclosed.

Among the assets: Special Collection, an online business library, and RivalEye, a service that gathers data from the Securities and Exchange Commission and other sources for businesses that want to know about competitors.

Divine will integrate Northern Light's technology into all its products, including content-management applications and portals. A customer will be able to search for E-commerce, says Gartner analyst Lou Latham, "and not only get back documents about E-commerce but also links to people who have E-commerce skills."
