American Airlines will make broadband Internet service available on its Boeing 767-200 aircraft during nonstop flights between New York and San Francisco, Los Angeles, and Miami.The service, called Gogo, will be available on 15 planes for a 3-to-6-month trial period. Fliers will pay $12.95 on flights longer than three hours for full Internet access, including access to company virtual private networks (VPNs), though not VoIP phone service.
