Partnerware Inc., a maker of channel-management software, is abandoning the ASP model. It's offering enterprise licenses for its new configurable, Web services-based software and introducing professional services. It's targeting large companies that want a centralized way to collect and measure data on channel-management processes. Says CEO Donna Troy, "Companies today are doing channel tracking, but not channel management."
