Next week ChangePoint Corp. will ship version 7.0 of its professional-services automation software. The new version will include features that move the company into a new market: the workforce optimization space. Version 7.0 will add individual performance-management capabilities to the software.

Managers will be able to benchmark their employees against customer-satisfaction reports, peer reviews, and their own work goals. "The system knows what employees are doing, and when," says Chuck Tatham, ChangePoint VP of marketing. "Give people feedback early on, and they can change their behavior." The new version includes a Windows XP-like interface, as well as French-and German-language support. Pricing starts at $500 per user.
