Need a little bling-bling when you're reading e-mail, working on a spreadsheet, or in a business meeting? How about a laptop with a crystal-encrusted logo on the lid?

That's what Micro-Star International is offering with its new M677 notebook.

The high-end M677 Crystal Collection notebook shows off a logo inlaid with 120 pieces of Austrian crystal. The Crystal M677 also uses an AMD TurionT 64 X2 processor, DDR II memory chips, and a 5,400 RPM high-speed hard drive.

"With the crystal design, I personally think it might attract some female notebook users," says Kevin Huang, a spokesman for MSI.

The notebooks will ship first in the European and Asian markets, probably starting in December. Huang notes that the crystal designs are slowing down production and that will keep the laptops out of the U.S. market in the near term.

Pricing information wasn't available.
