Is it because device freaks see opportunity where IT managers see risk?Taylor argues that the only devices IT managers can safely feel any enthusiasm for are BlackBerry handhelds. BlackBerry PDAs, he claims, are designed with the enterprise IT manager in mind, so they are ready-to-wear.
Other new mobile devices are not so ready-to-go. IT managers have to think about managing security risks from digital cameras, microSD cards, MP3 players, and all the other features that make device freaks so eager for the latest cell phones.
