As the nation watched, listened, and went online to learn the results of yesterday's election, we kept close tabs on our own electorate of bMighty readers and how they believed the bMighty ANT should vote.

As the nation watched, listened, and went online to learn the results of yesterday's election, we kept close tabs on our own electorate of bMighty readers and how they believed the bMighty ANT should vote.As with the Presidential vote, more bMighty readers favored Obama. Yet there was notable -- and strident -- backing for McCain as well as a smattering of support for various "write-in" candidates including Bloomberg, Paulson, and Bernanke. Thanks to all who voted.

Now that the ballots have been cast and (most) of the votes have been counted, the President-Elect moves on to the challenge of governing amid an economic crisis and multiple wars. And there's the very real question of how small and midsize businesses, not to mention the technology industry, will fare under the leadership of the Obama administration. At this point, we have only the record of the past and the proposals of the campaign as guideposts, but we should gain more insight well before the inauguration on January 20.
