Never mind teaching the world to sing; at the Olympics, Coke is talking up RFID technology.

Coca-Cola and Stitch Networks have handed out 5,500 Coke-bottle-shaped Texas In-struments radio-frequency ID tags to all athletes, coaches, and officials, and equipped 150 vending machines to dispense free sodas to anyone who waves one of the devices at a machine.

Each tag contains a number unique to its holder. Antennae in the machines pick up signals from the tags.
