Bill Gates, Jeff Bezos, and the rest of the 2,500 business and global leaders at the World Economic Forum in New York were given Compaq iPaqs by the vendor when they arrived last week. The handhelds were loaded with Microsoft's Pocket PC operating system and AvantGo software and connected to a wireless LAN.
