Thanks to what the Pentagon calls its overwhelming success, eArmyU, the Army's online university, will add two locations to its roster this month.

With eArmyU, enlisted personnel can earn associate's, bachelor's, and master's degrees from 23 colleges and universities by taking online courses from wherever they're stationed.

Tuition, books, notebook computers, and Web access are free, so it's no surprise that more than 12,000 soldiers from Fort Benning, Ga.; Fort Campbell, Ky.; and Fort Hood, Texas, have registered since the program began in January 2001.

The new locations are Fort Carson, Colo., and Fort Lewis, Wash.
