The search engine empire built on simplicity has become complicated enough to standardize its user support. Google today rolled out Google Help, a customer support destination for "tips, tricks, and troubleshooting."

The new Help page includes lists of links organized categorically and alphabetically. A search box is conspicuously absent.

In a post on the Google blog heralding the arrival of Google Help, Suzanne Hampton and Terry Hurlbutt from Google's online product support team note the new Help page covers "just about every Google product and service."

Missing from the categorical listing is Google Co-op. Several Google Labs products, including Google Trends, have no Help entry in either the categorical or alphabetical directories.

There's also no link from Google Help to the Google General FAQ, which can be found easily enough using the Google search engine.
