Today HTC announced three new smartphones -- two of which run Android and one of which runs Windows Phone 6.5.3. All of the devices feature refreshen industrial designs and the newest version of HTC's Sense user interface. information goes hands-on with all three. The HTC Desire is now the premium Android handset. It's the Nexus One, but with better hardware and better software. The improved specs include a refreshed control panel, the new version of Sense ui with Leap and Friend Stream, and a gorgeous 3.7-inch HD display.

The Legend is a follow-up to the Hero, and bests its progenitor in every way. The solid aluminum chassis is amazingly strong, the new optical mouse works great, and the improved AMOLED display makes the Legend's screen a pleasure to look at and interact with.

The HD Mini is a smaller version of HTC's popular HD2. It takes Windows Phone 6.5.3 to the next level with the new version of Sense for Windows, and a very pocketable form factor. It's small, lightweight, and runs super fast.

Here's a collection of three videos showing the phones in action so you can get better idea of what HTC is up to.
