HTC's roadmap for the first half has been leaked and there are tons of pictures and specifications. Looks like there will be plenty of Windows Mobile 6.5 devices as well as some based on Android.Boy Genius has the full scoop. Here are some of the highlights. The Android based Legend has a 3.2 inch HVGA AMOLED screen, capacitive of course. It has a 600MHz Qualcomm processor and is a GSM based phone with 3G capabilities. It also has an 802.11b/g radio. It should be here by March 2010.
Coming in June of 2010 is the Salsa, another Android based device. This one has a smaller 2.6 inch QVGA screen to make room for the QWERTY keyboard. Like the Legend, it is GSM based and has built in WiFi.
The Photon will be available in April of 2010 and will run Windows Mobile 6.5. I am sure it will have HTC's custom TouchFlo 3D UI. This will have a 3.2 inch capacitive touch screen which will involve more of HTC's magic UI sauce since WinMo 6.5 only natively supports resistive screens. Again, GSM based and will have WiFi built in.
The Tera is another WinMo 6.5 device. This one is reminiscent of the Tilt style device. The screen is a 3 inch resistive screen with a WQVGA resolution. It will also have the TouchFlo 3D UI. There is no projected availability date on this one yet.
There are several more listed and there are pictures of all of them with more complete specs at the Boy Genius site. What I'll be curious to find out is, especially with the Windows Mobile devices, are how many does HTC expect to upgrade to WinMo 7 when it ships. Those shipping in the latter part of the first half of 2010 may only be three to four months from the launch of WinMo 7. As for the Android devices, those have a good record of getting upgrades. I'd bet all of those will be good for at least one round of upgrades if not more.
