An Illinois state representative has introduced legislation that would require computer technicians to report child pornography to law-enforcement officials. Last summer, South Carolina passed a law with a similar intent. Illinois Republican Rep. James Durkin says he's talked with a police detective who said some technicians are reluctant to report child pornography because of confidentiality agreements with clients.
