Iomega unveiled network storage servers for small businesses and advanced home users on Tuesday.

The StorCenter Pro NAS 150d server sports disk drive hot-swap capability. It also is designed to offer users a backup option, along with a secure site for business files, photos, music, and multimedia content.

Iomega is shipping two versions of the server. The 1-Tbyte model is based on four hot-swappable SATA II 250-Gbyte hard drives. The 2-Tbyte model is based on four hot-swappable SATA II 500-Gbyte hard drives.

Both servers are set up to be configured for striping (RAID 0), mirroring (RAID 1), and striping along with parity (RAID 5) operations.

The StorCenter Pro NAS 150d 1-Tbyte server is available for $799. The StorCenter Pro NAS 150d 2-Tbyte server is priced at $1,499.
