The touchscreen-equipped Samsung Instinct and LG Vu led the lineup of new mobile phones and smartphones introduced at the CTIA wireless industry show.The Instinct and Vu, with touchscreens and icon-based interfaces, are positioned as competition for the iPhone. Other phones introduced at the show include the LG Viewty, which includes a 5 megapixel camera; the Sony Ericsson W980, with 8 GB of memory; and a lime-green version of the Motorola Q9c with GPS, Bluetooth, and EV-DO support, now available through Alltel and U.S. Cellular as well as Sprint.
