We did two main articles last year from the Salary Survey. One gave the straight numbers on who's making what. The second offered advice on positioning your IT career against the offshoring threat, in a piece called "You Vs. Offshoring." One notable finding from last year's survey was that the average base salary grew hardly at all, but that bonuses pushed the average to 3% for staff and 4% for managers. Bonuses made up a bigger share of pay than any year since 2001.
