The user manual for the HTC Incredible has leaked onto the Internet, and with it the entire spec list for the device. The Incredible will instantly become Verizon's flagship device when it goes on sale in the coming weeks, thanks to its 1Ghz processor, 8 megapixel camera, and giant 3.7-inch display. If you've been waiting for the Nexus One to become available for Verizon Wireless, you might want to skip it. The Incredible, made by HTC, is going to be better.

The Incredible shares many of the basics with the Nexus One. It will have a 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor under the hood, accompanied by 576MB RAM/512MB ROM and 8GB of built-in internal storage. It will also have the same 3.7-inch AMOLED display, with 480x800 pixels. As with the Nexus One, the Incredible will run Android 2.1.

The biggest difference between the two devices will be that the Incredible runs HTC's revised Sense UI. The newer version of Sense makes using the Android platform a seamless and much more enjoyable experience. The improvements of HTC's custom overlay include better social networking support and more powerful screen switching tools.

The other killer feature will be a massive 8 megapixel camera with autofocus and flash. Eight megapixels puts the Incredible right into the point-and-shoot replacement sweet spot. As long as Verizon Wireless and HTC make the appropriate adjustments to the camera software, it could be a fantastic device. It is probably safe to assume that the device will also support HD video capture.

Other specs include aGPS, digital compass, proximity sensor, light sensor, Bluetooth 2.1, 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi and a 3.5mm headset jack.

According to reports, the Incredible may launch through Verizon Wireless as soon as April 29.
