The world's fifth largest handset maker, LG, today at CTIA announced their plan to pre-install Google applications on future LG handsets released in North America and other markets.LG will embed a number of Google applications including Google Maps, Blogger Mobile, and, of course, Gmail. LG said it plans to launch 10 new mobile phones with Google's applications built-in.

This announcement is similar to a deal Google announced with Samsung earlier this year.

LG will ship its first Google-powered handsets in April.
