Additional details for the top carrier in the United States were revealed today and no one will be shocked to see it is full of Android devices. WebOS and Blackberry also have some slots on the list, but no mention of the much rumored Verizon iPhone and Windows Phone is nowhere to be seen.For September, the Droid 2 will get a minor refresh with a world edition that includes more colors and a GSM radio, in addition to the CDMA radio, so you can use it on the GSM networks most of the rest of the planet uses. Motorola will also have another Android device called the Citrus that will focus on affordability versus top end features.

The Blackberry Storm3 armed with Blackberry 6.0 and a capacitive touch screen will arrive in October. The Curve 3 is also expected to arrive around the same time. It should have Blackberry 6.0 too, but this will include a real QWERTY keyboard versus being touch only as the Storm3 is. Samsung will have one each of a high, medium and low end device, all running Android. The Samsung Fascinate will be the top end device and come with a 4 inch Super AMOLED screen. The low end Samsung Continuum will have a QWERTY keyboard. The Droid Pro will also come out and it too is rumored to be a world device with both CDMA and GSM radios. The final tidbit for October is the Palm Pre 2, the successor to the Pre Plus. No word if it will run WebOS 1.x or if WebOS 2.0 will be available by then.

November is more about tablets than phones as both Samsung and Motorola release Android based tablets.

What isn't listed is the iPhone. Rumors of that device have literally been around for years but have heated up in recent weeks. There is nothing though in this report to lend support to those fantasies. Windows Phone 7 also isn't listed. Absence of evidence isn't evidence of absence though, so as of yet, I wouldn't count these two out. Many think the recent tiff between Microsoft and Verizon over the Kin debacle has soured Verizon to Microsoft's mobile platforms.

We'll have to wait a few more months to see how those two platforms pan out for Verizon. One thing is for sure though; if you are an Android fan on the Verizon network, your biggest problem is deciding which one to get.
