Joining Samsung and Apple in today's rush of 3G phone announcements is Motorola, which launched its MC75, a ruggedized handheld "enterprise digital assistant."The MC75 delivery, aimed at field sales and service workers, has 3G wireless connectivity and built-in GPS. It also features a 2-megapixel for capturing documents, signatures, and bar codes as well as objects. Brian Viscount, Motorola's vice president of product marketing for mobile computing, said the MC75 offers HSDPA 3.6 and EVDO Rev A 3G connectivity as well as 802.11g WiFi and can provide simultaneous access to voice and data.
Available in July, the MC75 will sell for the same price as the current MC70 -- $2,635 to $3,035 depending on configuration -- said Viscount.ChannelWeb, Computerworld
