Motorola is implementing a complex Web services-based system including J2EE services, those built on the Microsoft .NET Framework, packaged applications with Web services interfaces, and external Web services.
"The management layer is a critical component of any enterprise-class Web services system," said Toby Redshaw, corporate vice president of IT Strategy Architecture and eBusiness, Motorola. "After an extensive review of solutions, we saw that AmberPoint met all our Web services management requirements. AmberPoint has given us the service level management and security measures we need to be successful with our loosely coupled systems."

"Adding Motorola to our community of marquee customers extends our leadership in this market and is further validation of the unique advantages of our software solutions."
