ElekSen is planning to unveil early next year a new Bluetooth fabric keyboard and game joystick for PDAs and mobile phones.
The company currently has on the market keyboards for the SPV Smart Phone offered by the U.K. company Orange in Europe, and another keyboard remarketed by Logitech for Palm handhelds.
The new devices are designed to be used by a wide range of device brands. They would be re-branded and bundled with specific devices.
The input devices are made from a special "electronic fabric" technology that can sense input on three axes: vertical, horizontal and amount of pressure.
UK-based ElekSen, which is formerly known as ElectroTextiles, first announced fabric keyboards in 2001.
