Wireless Knowledge's Workstyle for Lotus Domino Version 2.0 supports multiple devices accessing a Notes database.
Mobile systems vendor Wireless Knowledge Inc. has begun shipping software that provides mobile professionals with access to Lotus Domino-based corporate E-mail, calendar, and contacts. The company, jointly owned by Microsoft and Qualcomm Inc., says its Workstyle for Lotus Domino Version 2.0 lets Lotus Notes users access data from mobile phones, pagers, personal digital assistants, and notebook computers.
The system provides access to the same personal address book as the Notes client, as well as support for Notes-encrypted E-mail, Notes digital signatures, Domino password management settings, and security authentication using an individual's unique Notes ID file. Messages based on user-defined parameters can also be sent directly to pagers, mobile phones with messaging services, or any Internet address.
