The Bernie Mac Show, 8:30 p.m. ET, Wed- nesday: Can the best parents be the ones you least suspect? After his drug-addicted sister enters rehab, a stand-up comic, Bernie Mac (The Original Kings Of Comedy, playing himself), and his wife, Wanda (Kellita Smith), take in her three children, ages 5 to 13. The couple never wanted kids, but now they have a houseful. Rays of hope for a successful run: The show is going without a laugh track, and it'll address some tough issues. Consecutive episodes air during premiere week.
