Patrick Warburton as "The Tick."

Two shows, a drama and a comedy, premiere this week, both on Fox:

24, 9 p.m. ET, Tuesday: Each episode spans one hour of real time, from midnight to midnight, as an elite team of CIA agents has just 24 hours to uncover an assassination plot against a presiden-tial candidate. Kiefer Sutherland stars.

The Tick, 8:30 p.m. ET, Thursday: From Ben Edlund's popular comic book, this comedy stars Patrick Warburton (Seinfeld's David Puddy) in the title role. With his superhero pals -- Batmanuel, Captain Liberty, and The Moth (really a frustrated accountant who wants to be a superhero) -- The Tick battles evil in the city known only as The City.
