Employee Portal 4.5 adds features and an improved user interface

Onyx Software Inc. on Wednesday shipped the latest version of its flagship customer-relationship management portal, Onyx Employee Portal 4.5, which boasts additional features and a revamped user interface.

Onyx Employee Portal, which helps users manage customer and partner relationships, is the latest portal revision for the company. In the fourth quarter of last year, Onyx released upgraded editions of the other two core components of its CRM software, Onyx Partner Portal and Onyx Customer Portal.

A new organization-chart-like tool in Employee Portal lets users quickly see who's who within a company, supplier, or partner, while a personalized home page lets employees build lists that give them fast access to key accounts and information on those accounts.
