Oracle last week incorporated sales-force automation and customer-support management capabilities in its Small Business Suite, which is offered as an online service. The suite is built on accounting software from NetLedger, an online service provider funded by Oracle chairman Larry Ellison. Sales-force automation lets a business track leads, assign leads to sales professionals, process sales orders, and view customer profiles. The customer-support management features let a service department track and process service requests. The suite costs $99 per month.
