The recession hit manufacturing companies hard, but if there are any midmarket industrial manufacturers still growing, they can now buy a pre-packaged bundle of HP hardware, Oracle Acclerate software, Oracle Consulting services to help manage their businesses.Created and delivered by Oracle Consulting, the package consists of Oracle E-Business Suite Release 12 pre-loaded, pre-configured, and pre-tested on HP BladeSystem infrastructure and HP StorageWorks Modular Smart Arrays. Actual configurations vary depending on the number of users, and the package includes onsite hardware set up and tech support for the application implementation.

Oracle Accelerate, the company's 3-year-old effort to address midsize companies, has been aggressively expanding its vertical market offerings. What seems unusual here, is that except for the largest mid-market customers, these solutions are typically sold to SMBs through Oracle partners who specialize in those vertical markets. In this case, though, the package is coming direct from Oracle and HP via Oracle Consulting.
