Big, high-definition televisions are the most lusted-after tech gift, according to the results of an online poll released Tuesday.

About 24 percent of the 1100 respondents said they wanted a high-tech television such as a plasma TV, according to CompTIA, a technology trade group. Digital cameras were in second place with 15.6 percent and music players came in a distant third with 11.8 percent. Wireless home networking equipment was fourth at 10.6 percent.

Further down in the list were digital video recorders with 8.1 percent, smartphones and PDAs at 7.9 percent and tablet PCs at 7.7 percent. Bringing up the rear were portable media centers with 2.2 percent.
