Can't get enough of wireless devices? Soon you'll be able to read instructional books about them, directly on the device itself. Symbian, the provider of the Symbian Operating System for mobile devices, and publishing firm John Wiley & Sons Ltd. have formed a partnership to establish the Symbian Press' publishing imprint.

The agreement is intended to provide digitally rendered books for Symbian-based devices, such as the new Nokia 9290 Communicator, which debuted this week. Symbian Press is producing a range of books designed to assist C++, Java, and content developers make use of the Symbian operating system. The first book in the series, due to be published in September 2001, is Wireless Java for Symbian Devices by Jonathan Allin.
