Based on the spec sheet that's floating about the Interwebs today, it appears as though Motorola's next Android phone is probably headed to AT&T -- which remains to be the only major U.S. carrier not already offering an Android handset.RIght now, Dell's Android device is the only one we know of that might land at AT&T at some point in the future. AT&T itself hasn't given any indication if or when it will offer an Android handset at all, but with at least two Android handsets available each from Sprint, T-Mobile and Verizon Wireless, AT&T has to want to get into the Android game.

Perhaps the "Motus" is that game-changer.

Some specs spotted on the Internet purport to spill all the necessary details about the Motus. Based on a blurry image, it's an odd-looking phone that sort of resembles the CLIQ, but has a unique hinge connecting to its QWERTY keyboard.

The rest of the specs include:

It's the tri-band HSDPA support that gives it away as a possible AT&T phone. The 850/1900MHz spectrum is what AT&T uses for 3G.

As for the rest of the specs, they are a little ho-hum. The display is the same that the CLIQ has, which is also about the same as the HTC Hero/Eris and several other handsets. While it is certainly a nice display, it pales in comparison with devices such as the Droid and the HD2. Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS are expected to be on all smartphones at this point. The specs don't include any info about the camera, but it will probably be the same 5 megapixel module that's in the CLIQ.

Anyway, believe it or not, it seems a realistic set of specs for Motorola's next Android device.
