T-Mobile HotSpot said Wednesday that it has entered roaming agreements with six international hotspot vendors.

The agreements expand to 11,500 the number of hotspots offered by the U.S.-based vendor, which is a business unit of T-Mobile USA. The additional hotspots are in England, Germany, Austria, Netherlands, Italy, Czech Republic, Japan, Malaysia, Singapore and Australia.

The roaming agreements will enable T-Mobile's U.S. customers log on to other carriers' hotspots using their T-Mobile user name and password. The agreements were made with a variety of wireless cariers including NTT Com in Japan, Telstra in Australia and the vendor's parent company, T-Mobile International in Germany, Austria and the Czech Republic.

The company said in a statement that it expected to enter into roaming agreements with more international carriers in the near future.
