By the time the Samsung Behold II hits the market, T-Mobile will have no less than four Android handsets available for sale. The Behold II easily surpasses HTC's G1 and myTouch 3G when it comes to heavy-hitting specs.

It boasts not only access to T-Mobile's 3G network, but Wi-Fi, GPS, and Bluetooth 2.1. On the media side of the equation, it steps into the ring with a 5-megapixel camera with autofocus, video capture and five different shooting modes.

It favors a 3.2-inch AMOLED touch display and uses what Samsung is calling its next-generation TouchWiz user interface. Unfortunately, Samsung didn't say much about what makes this new version of TouchWiz "next-generation." All we know is that it features a floating 3D cube in the middle of the screen with different applications and screens on each side of the cube. How Samsung was able to incorporate TouchWiz into Android, it also doesn't say.

Naturally, the Behold II will have access to all of Google's services, including Google Search, Google Maps, Gmail, YouTube and Google Talk as well as thousands of applications and games available for download from Android Market.

Neither T-Mobile nor Samsung said what the device will cost, nor when it will be available. T-Mobile only committed to "before the holidays", which hopefully means by Black Friday.
