Verizon hopes to appeal to power cell phone users with a flat monthly plan that includes unlimited calls made to users of other carriers. For a penny shy of $100, customers can make as many domestic calls to cellular or landline phones as they want; the package also includes unlimited Internet access. Another $20 buys unlimited messaging. For $129.99, Verizon will extend its offering to smartphones and other handheld devices.
