  • Reality Research estimates that 29,000 solution provider organizations in North America (US and Canada) sell voice and data solutions to end-customer businesses. This equates to 31 percent of the total population of 93,500 value channel companies.

  • Voice and data integrators with the highest annual revenue focus on the largest customer sets, while those in lower brackets aim at small firms as their primary buyers. Nearly half of voice and data integrators with annual sales exceeding $10 million cite end-customer companies with 1,000 or more employees as their main customer set, compared to a tenth of those earning less than $1 million.

  • Voice and data on TCP/IP networks is the leading type of solution, provided by 80 percent of voice and data integrators in the last 12 months.


METHODOLOGY
The research and analysis is based on 460 completed online surveys from Reality's Rapid Online Automated Research (ROAR) Channel Panel of North American Solution Providers. Reality's Channel Panel of Solution Providers is a panel consisting of 5000 highly qualified Solution Provider executives among North American channel firms.
