Business travelers who spend time working with their fellow road warriors may want to consider the newest router from Cisco Systems Inc.'s Linksys division. The Wireless-G Travel Router with Speedbooster, also called the WTR54GS, can be used to get a fast Internet connection in hotels, airports, and other places, and share that access with colleagues--think of a group of co-workers collaborating on a presentation in a hotel room or coffee shop in the hours before a big meeting.

An Ethernet port allows a user without wireless capabilities to share the connection, and a wide area network port lets the router tap wired cable or DSL connections. Users who have Linksys wireless cards equipped with the vendor's new SecureEasySetup technology can set up a wireless LAN safeguarded with Wi-Fi Protected Access, a standard security system, with a push of a button.

The router, which retails for $100, includes a built-in firewall and support for VPNs.
