Xerox Corp. last week cut the ribbon on an expanded imaging and repository services facility in Hot Springs, Ark., designed to generate greater revenue for its new global-services unit. Businesses send paper and electronic documents to Xerox Global Services' Imaging and Repository Services, which digitizes the documents, consolidates the data into repositories, and ships them back as data files or new E-documents. By the end of February, Dow Chemical Co. will have sent about 500,000 research documents to Xerox for digitization and cataloging.
