Researchers at Accenture Technology Labs are refining a prototype of a device that would be worn to constantly record user interactions and create a searchable database of actions, memories and other important information. For instance, it could whisper in your ear to remind you of the name of someone you met two weeks ago.

Chris Hoofnagle, legislative counsel for the Electronic Privacy Information Center, says, "There could be a strong backlash against this type of monitoring."
