Business process management software maker Fuego aligned itself with Proxima Technology in an effort to help business customers gauge their IT demands and provision resources accordingly.

Proxima Technology makes the Centauri Business Service Manager, software designed to measure IT service quality and align IT with business processes. Under terms of the agreement, Centauri will provide Fuego's application, called FuegoBPM, with information about IT-business alignment. FuegoBPM will lend the Centauri tool business process information and insight into how it translates into demand for IT services.

The companies hope the partnership will provide customers with a business-driven foundation for "on-demand" computing.

Fuego specializes in pre-packaged process templates for the financial services, insurance, health care, and manufacturing industries.
