Business process management vendor HandySoft signed an agreement with T-Systems, a German information and communications technology firm, to jointly sell BPM-related software and services.

The pact currently calls for the firms to package HandySoft software with consulting, customization, hosting and other services provided by T-Systems, a subsidiary of Deutsche Telekom. The applications will run in T-Systems data centers.

The companies will target the German, Austrian and Swiss markets. HandySoft hopes to make headway in Europe with its SOXA software, which is a Sarbanes-Oxley compliance application designed for European companies that are listed on U.S. public markets.

HandySoft, Vienna, Va., said the agreement between itself and T-Systems might be expanded to include joint services built around BizFlow, HandySoft's flagship software for business process optimization.
