Increases integration with SAP xApps, Intalio, and Fuego.
Business Process Management (BPM) vendor IDS Scheer has announced three expanded partnerships designed to help enterprises use its ARIS solutions suite to manage and optimize all phases of the business process lifecycle.
The firm it has expanded its relationship with SAP AG to include delivering reference models within the ARIS Toolset for SAP xApps, which are packaged composite applications. The ARIS Toolset can now helps speed up the business process design and blueprinting phase of customer implementations of SAP xApps. SAP xApps are designed to "snap on" to a existing heterogeneous IT environments to support business processes across multiple applications from any vendor. The reference models provided by IDS Sheer will become part of the xApp solutions, providing a methodology and suite of tools to design, document, and continuously improve business processes.
IDS Scheer also expanded its partnership with Intalio, Inc. to further integrate the ARIS Toolset with Intalio|n, Intalio's Business Process Management System (BPMS). The tighter integration between the products will incorporate emerging BPM standards including BPMN (Business Process Modeling Notation) and BPEL (Business Process Execution Language), and will move the products toward providing real-time business process intelligence.
IDS Scheer also entered into a partnership with Fuego, a provider of BPM solutions. Fuego will integrate the ARIS Toolset with its FuegoBPM automation software. FuegoBPM is aimed at letting enterprises control and optimize their enterprise assets, including applications, people and core business functions.
The three partnerships are all designed to help enterprises close the gap between corporate strategy and real-life implementations. They were all announced at the ProcessWorld 2004 currently taking place in Miami.
