Informatica Corp. on Friday said it expected to report “disappointing” financial results in the second quarter.
The data integration software maker said total revenues for the quarter ended June 30 will range from $52.5 million to $53.5 million. Net income would be between breakeven and one cent per share, which includes about three cents per share of amortization of acquired technology, intangible assets and stock-based compensation.
License revenues would range from $23 million to $23.5 million, with service revenues between $29.5 million and $30 million.
“The quarter was disappointing as we were not able to see all of the benefits of a strengthening sales and marketing line-up,” Gaurav Dhillon, president and chief executive of Informatica, said in a statement. “We made a large number of sales hires during the quarter and our focus in the coming quarters is increasing productivity and sharpening of our go-to-market strategy.”
Informatica is scheduled to release final results July 20.
