Citrix Systems Inc. shipped a refreshed version of its MetaFrame XP Presentation Server and its new MetaFrame Conference Manager software on Thursday, boasting of enhanced security in the former and integration with Microsoft's Outlook in the latter.

Both server-based programs work with Citrix's MetaFrame Access Suite, and are certified to run on Microsoft's newest server software platform, Windows Server 2003.

XP Presentation Server, which lets IT staffs centrally manage custom and commercial Windows and Web applications, then deliver them to any client device across any network connection, features better security, improved printing, and faster performance, according to Citrix. Release 3 is priced at $2,475 for a 15-seat license.

When used along with XP Presentation Server, the new MetaFrame Conference Manager lets users work collaboratively in the same application to edit documents, review presentations, or conduct real-time training sessions. Its Outlook integration lets users schedule collaborative sessions.

Conference Manager is priced at $99 per concurrent user.
